Theme: to create a regal, Asari-like language with the orthography based off of Asari place names and proper names, and the grammar based off of what I feel fits a race such as the Asari. For example: All Asari are inherently female, even though gender does not necessarily mean anything to them, so their langauge does not distinguish between natural gender. So technically Neuter = Feminine, even though there is no Masculine to distinguish it.
I know this might seem like a fairly standard language, but I felt like that was the best fit for the Asari. I plan to branch out into more experimental language types with the other ME races.
Or Drell? Or maybe even Geth?
I remember the Drell language being based loosely of Turkish, and Quarian being based off of Russian because of Tali's accent.
There was a Salarian planet, I think it was called Kaleesh or something, that was named after the word for "it's still winter". That's technically an entire statement in one word.
I would expect Salarian to be like this though, because they have such short lives, it makes sense for them to have a language that allows them to get a lot of thought and knowledge out in little time. It would also be useful for scientific research because sentences can contain a lot of information that way.
