--Alphabet--

Aa Bb Ee Ff Hh Ii Kk Ll Mm Nn Oo Pp Rr Ss Tt Uu '

-Vowels are long unless made short by adding ['] to them.  I.e: 'a' - [a:] -> 'a - [eh]

--Cases--

Marent'aa has virtually no case distinction other than sentence structure, similar to English.  There is no declension or inflection besides verb conjugation.

--Verbs--

-Infinitive Form is bare verb (Perfect Form)
-Verbs are conjugated for person:

Perfect form - Korikori- to swim

(I swim)          (You swim)          (You pl.)          (He/She/It swims)          (They swim)          (We swim)

Korikori[-a]       Korikori[-u]        Korikori[-e]          Korikori[-atu]         Korikori[-etu]        Korikori[-i]

--Gender--

Nouns do not have a gender, and there are no definitie or indefinite articles to differentiate.

--Sentence Structure--

Sentences can be constructed in a VSO or VOS manner.  In either version, the verb always comes first.

VSO

So'a-a u Karo Raru - I give to Karu [the] card (lit.)

VOS

So'a-a Raru u Karo - I give [the] card to Karo  (Could also be interpreted as 'I give the card to him[Karo])

So'a[-a] - I give | Raru - Card | u - to | Karo

So'a(Perfect form)[-a](I-conjugation) Raru(Card) u(to) Karo
Marent'aa seems to be almost too simple, so if anyone notices a gaping hole in the grammar, please let me know and I'll fix it.
